All things around you

You're in a room
Where are you?
Well, I'm in a room right?
No
You are in nature
Standing in a foreign structure inserted into the calm, tranquility of nature
In the beginning of time, it was all we knew
We only knew the tall oaks of the forest
The flow of the river and the waves of the ocean
The rustle of the leaves as an animal stirred in the distance
Never think you are separate from nature
It was there from the beginning and it will remain until the end
You're in a room
Where are you?

  1. I really like the repetition in the beginning and end, and the very effective use of imagery (how you described nature/the forest)

  3. The concept that you used in your poem was very interesting to think about!
