The Nature of Nature
Nature is all around us
Nature is the crunch of the leaves
underneath our feet
Nature is the sun in the sky
and the birds in the air
Nature is when someone laughs
when someone smiles
when someone cries
Nature is what drives us
what helps us
what keeps us going
Nature is in everyone
in a baby just born
in a person almost gone
The nature of nature is to always be there
waiting, supporting, sustaining.

ReplyDeleteI like the allegory connecting the vast variety of nature with simple yet pleasurable activities we experience every day. I also like how you write that everyone is a part of nature, which is something we especially need to consider in the present.
