The universe is all things,
people are not.
Seemingly insignificant
in comparison to the all-encompassing.
Microscopic people
having a microscopic effect on the bigger picture.
A pebble is tiny
seemingly insignificant.
Drops into a large pond,
dispatching mini ripples in all directions,
eventually larger waves crash onto shore.
Pebbles in ponds,
humans of the universe.
Everything matters,
impacting the world,
impacting people.
I really like the metaphors you used here with the pebbles and the people, and thought it sent the message across really clearly. Also I think your image fits really well with your poem!
