The Path

The road you now walk
Is the path you chose.
What lead you there
is unknown
to everyone but you.

When one tries to forge their own path
They will only find themselves
stumbling, grasping;
succumbing to the darkness
without letting in the light.

But if you let nature takes its course,
The universe will share upon you its plan;
Acknowledging that your path is woven
into the fabric of the universe,
unchangeable,
Will allow you to let yourself relax
into the here and now.

So you can simply be.
And let what shall happen to you happen,
knowing the future is already set,
allowing yourself to find peace at last.

  4. Displaying the actions of a "fool" and "wise" man was very interesting and really brought out the different sides of taoism. It really describes how fate is basically set and stone and because of that, you just go with the flow and relieve yourself from your worries.
