The way of Taoism

The Tao?
It is nothing.
The Tao?
It is everything.
It is a serene substance,
making up everything.
It is the product of deep thought,
and teaches others to think deeply.
The Tao is made up of opposites.
It makes up yin and yang,
dark and light,
good and bad.
It creates balance in all it touches.
The Tao is practical.
It gives advice.
Go with the flow,
be flexible,
live the Tao for a better life.
While some may laugh,
saying it is a "Confucius say" gathering of cryptic ideas.
The way of the Tao,
is revealed to those who look closely.
It's really cool how you use a balance between words (positive and negative) to really express the Tao balance you're talking about. I also really like the repetition in the beginning.
ReplyDeleteI like how you use the theme from the Tao Te Ching of opposites to show how the Tao encompasses everything.
