The Tao

Like the sun’s glare
Yet like the moon’s glow
With the strength of his father
Yet with the heart of his mother
He is Wandering
But not Lost
He is Clarity
Amongst Chaos
He is Confidence
Without arrogance
He is Moving
But not Racing
He is wind and rain
He is summer and winter
He is noon and midnight

He is beginning and end

  2. I really liked your use of figurative language in this poem! It's very similar to the Tao Te Ching

  3. I like the way you used contrast similar to the way it was used in the original Tao poems. The way you used contrasting lines to signify balance and harmony really drove your point home.
