The Meaning
The Tao is omnipotent
An ability within
An ability of peace and yet
An ability of power.
The Tao has the yang,
and the Tao has the yin.
The yin is serene, quiet, still.
The tang is all-powerful
A dark force to reckon with.
The yin is a silent force.
The yang is a loud power.
The Tao has the yin,
and the Tao has the yang.
A lesson learned from the Tao
is to be calm, serene;
encompass the yin.
And, yet, the yang can strike,
helping, or destroying.
This is the Yin.
This is the Yang.
This is
the Tao.

I really liked your comparison of ying and yang and the way you organized it so that every two lines contrasted against each other. Also the pun was good.
ReplyDeleteI appreciated your repetition of the Yin and the Yang in a way that made the poem flow really nicely. You made good use of paradoxes and relating everything to the Tao
