Following the Tao

Dedicate your whole life to search for it,
You won't find it
Try to grasp it between your palms
You won't reach it
Listen for guidance from the Master
You won't hear it
Tao is neither death nor life
It is the living
Tao is Light
Tao is Darkness
It runs through our veins
It embodies our souls
It creates
And ends
Tao is power
Tao is weakness
Tao is simplicity in a world of complications
Tao is the heartbeat
And the breath
It is the unconscious and conscious state of mind
To fully harness Tao
Let the Master guide your soul
Plant your seed of life and let Tao come
Help you grow,
And when it's time,
let Tao wash over your soul,

With waves of cool, refreshing wisdom

  2. I like that this is full of contradictions, it is similar to the original Tao poems we read. It's very authentic

  3. Really enjoyed the connection of the sparrow to life and death and the fear of the endless void of existential end after death.

  4. I like the repetition and your poetic devices, it really makes the poem flow nicely and beautifully. Awesome job!!! :)
